Cookie Policy
This policy outlines the use of cookies on this website. This policy may be updated from time to time to reflect any changes to the functionality of this website or changes in technology or data protection legislation.
A cookie is a small piece of data or text file sent by a website to the browser on your computer or mobile device when you are visiting a website. It consists of anonymous information, including a unique user identifier. When you navigate between pages on a website or revisit a website, the cookie is sent back from your browser to the website, to enable the website to remember your browser and whether you have entered personalised details or preferences on that website before.

How do we use cookies on this website?
We use cookies for the inherent functionality of this website and its Content Management System. We also use cookies to collect information about how visitors use this website.

Google
Google Analytics:
We use cookies associated with Google Analytics. Google provides code to collect information about how visitors use our site. This information is collected anonymously and does not identify an individual. Information collected by Google Analytics includes data about where visitors have come from, what pages they viewed and how long they spend on the site. We use this information to help us improve the way www.coboticsskillnet.ie works to provide a better user experience. Google Analytics prohibits the tracking or collection of personal information or association of personal information with web analytics information.
Google Adwords & Re-marketing:
Google Adwords is an advertising analytics service provided by Google. Adwords uses temporary cookies that are stored on a user’s computer for a limited period. Only pages that a user has visited containing the Google conversion code are tracked. Google do not collect or store personal information.
AdWords Re-marketing is a re-marketing and behavioural targeting service provided by Google. This website uses the Google AdWords re-marketing service to advertise on third party websites (including Google) to previous visitors to www.coboticsskillnet.ie. Users may opt-out of Adwords Re-marketing use of cookies by visiting the Adwords Re-marketing opt-out page.

Facebook
Facebook Re-targeting:
We use Facebook Re-targeting cookies so we can advertise relevant information about Cobotics Skillnet to our social media users. Facebook Re-targeting is a re-marketing service provided by Facebook Inc which uses the Facebook Pixel. The Facebook pixel is a small, invisible piece of code owned and operated by Facebook that tells Facebook to save visitors’ cookies to the Skillnet Ireland website. More information on Facebook’s cookie policy can be found here.
Users may opt-out of Facebook Retargeting use of cookies by visiting https://www.facebook.com/ads/preferences.
Facebook Custom Audiences:
Facebook’s custom audiences feature enables Cobotics Skillnet to create an audience list for sending ads through Facebook. Cobotics Skillnet uses customer data such as email addresses and phone numbers to match (at an email address or telephone level) to Facebook users. If a Facebook user clicks on an ad which has been sent to them because they are part of a custom audience list, a Facebook cookie installed on the Facebook website allows their user behaviour to be tracked. This enables Skillnet Ireland to measure the effectiveness of Facebook ads for statistical and market research purposes. The data collected in this way is anonymous to Cobotics Skillnet.
Users may opt out of Facebook Custom Audiences by visiting https://www.facebook.com/settings?tab=ads

ICERT and Cobotics Skillnet has been instrumental in helping us to drive forward with the introduction of Robotics, Collaborative Robots and Automation n our operations. It has given us an opportunity to meet with a number of people from different industries who are on the same journey. Allowing meaningful discussions on the path forward, and learning from each other the potential pitfalls along the way. Having the opportunity to visit each other’s sites and see the technologies in action is always a great learning experience, without the ICERT and Cobotics Skillnet I do not think this could happen.

Just a quick note to thank you and the rest of the team in ICERT and Cobotics Skillnet for your continued support in developing our understanding and knowledge in Robotics/Cobotics and Automation. Our goal in getting involved in ICERT and Cobotics Skillnet has been to better understand what this evolving technology can offer and also how it will impact our business over the coming years. Our involvement with ICERT and Cobotics Skillnet and the continued in-company site visits have been both very informative and engaging and we hope that these will continue.
It is clear from each of the site visits that all participants are committed to ensure the best possible outcome. They continue to surpass our expectations. Also I have to say that the financial support that the Skillnet has afforded Trend has been very welcome and has helped significantly in developing our in house expertise and in due course will enhance our technical expertise and ultimately our competitiveness

Becoming a member of ICERT and Cobotics Skillnet afforded me the opportunity to network with like-minded people across a range of industries and disciplines. The benefits acquired from this collaboration and sharing of knowledge and experience has tremendously accelerated Integers understanding of how Robotics and Automation can enable us to remain relevant in today’s global marketplace. As Charles Darwin said more than 150 years ago “It is not the strongest of the species that survives, nor the most intelligent that survives. It is the one that is the most adaptable to change, that lives within the means available and works co-operatively against common threats”.
